INSTRUCTION

C & C Charters requires piloting or instruction by USCG Licensed Captains for those charterers who do not meet our bareboat qualifications and recommends “refresher training” for charterers who may not have cruised recently. Skills taught by instructors include:

• Coastal Navigation
• Rules of the Road
• Boat Handling
• Basic Seamanship

Personalized instruction allows the charterers to learn at their own pace, breeze through skills mastered, and concentrate on difficult areas. We do not offer bareboat certification courses; however, once the skills are mastered, the instructor and C & C Charters may then serve as references for the charterer.

Licensed Captains charge $350 to $400 per day, and gratuity is customary for good service rendered. Please contact C & C Charters for a list of local USCG Captains available for instruction and yacht deliveries.
